    The answer is sometimes do nothing.

    Change should carry the burden of proof. A practical test for deciding when to proceed, wait, simplify or stop.

    A useful AI product is a whole, operated service. The model is one component, and one the product should allow you to replace.

    A pilot should resolve a decision, not create indefinite momentum. Give it a threshold, an owner and an honest way to end.
